(21 Nov 1973) In Nicosia the Cyprus Democratic party led a march through the city's streets. Demonstrators gathered in Bayraktar Square, and, led by the Party's Vice President, Doctor Takis Hatjidemetriou, made their way through the city chanting slogans and carrying banners. At the end of the demonstration, banners bering the likeness of President Papadopolous were burned. There were no violent incidents.
