In this video, I provide some of my suggestions and ideas in order to assemble an individual first aid kit (IFAK). While the particular IFAK covered in this video covers more basic first aid items and a couple of trauma-specific items, having a dedicated trauma kit is definitely worthwhile. I've included links below for several of the items covered in this video, along with several items to consider for a dedicated trauma kit such as a combat application tourniquet (C.A.T.), quick-clot combat gauze, and the individual patrol officers kit (IPOK). The IPOK provides a complete package of basic trauma supplies to get started.
