Acting Victorian Premier James Merlino has introduced a mask mandate for people attending weddings and funerals in the wake of the Melbourne cluster.
It comes as Victoria recorded five new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
Mr Merlino has revealed there will be no major changes to weddings and funerals at public venues.
“There is no change to be existing density quota other than the wearing of facemasks when you are not eating or drinking,” he said.
Events held at private residences will be limited to no more than five people, the celebrant and one photographer.
