Nkeyema Member of Parliament, Kapelwa Mbangweta has joined other stakeholders welcoming the extension of the school re-opening date to 1st February, 2021.
Mr. Mbangweta says pupils and teachers can recover from the postponement of schools reopening but lives can never be replaced.
He says the announcement will give chance for everyone involved to prepare adequately especially with the challenge that the pandemic poses.
President Edgar Lungu recently announced that schools will reopen on 1st February, 2021, instead of the earlier set 18th January, 2021, due to the increase in of the coronavirus cases.
