Krishna Janmashtami celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu, who is believed to have been born at midnight. Devotees fast, sing devotional songs, and re-enact scenes from his life. The festival symbolizes the victory of good over evil and love for all.
