There are a number of ways energy can be transferred, but in this video we are going to focus on how objects transfer energy by electromagnetic radiation. We will discuss the Stefan-Boltzmann Law and how we can use this to find out the net power transfer of electromagnetic radiation from an object; We'll define what a black-body is; we'll look at why objects at different temperatures emit different wavelengths of light - more specifically, the intensity of black-body radiation vs wavelength for three different temperatures; and finally, we calculate the power output (of electromagnetic radiation) from a molten ball of glass.
