This video I show you how to make embedded info channels on Discord. With embedded info channels added in your Discord server new members will have a clear guideline to follow. You can use embedded channels to explain the server rules, give information on events, or clarify anything members may be curious about.

To create embedded info channels on Discord you will need to use an embed builder and a webhook. When setting up the Discord webhook you have the ability to create the profile on your server. Alternatively, you can use the profile options in the embed builder to customize the message sender.

Images can also be included in an embedded Discord message using a image URL. The image will be embedded and can even be added as it's own unique embed block. Images can be used as a Discord channel banner.

While information channels are typically used by new members, they're always good for existing members to refer to. When you are creating embedded info messages you will want to be as clear and concise ass possible. The easier your text is the understand the more effective the information will be.

When referencing any server roles or channels it is best to include the mentions so members can understand better. To include any server roles, members, channels, or emojis you will need to use the respective ID. These IDs will tell Discord what is being mentioned in the embedded message so it can include it.

Embedded info channel messages can also be backed up in a number of ways. This allows you to make changes to the information at any point.
