KLIP: Mallanna Sagar (PKG-12) Work progress
As on 28th October 2019
1. Mallannasagar is the most important part in Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme
2. Mallannasagar water storage capacity is 50TMC.
3. Most of the electro-mechanical works have been completed in Mallannasagar.
4. Surge pool and delivery cistern works completed
5. MEIL almost completed the delivery main works
6. The construction of 6 Surge shafts completed and another two surge shafts are near completion
7. Two-kilometer length approach channel construction works are completed.
8. 16.18-kilometer link up tunnel construction works also completed
9. 200 meters surge pool construction completed
10. The Mallannasagar pump house with 8 machines also completed.
11. MEIL is expecting to complete all the works and commissioning by December 2019.
