hey there! so, as of march 2024, there hasn't been any official word from universal pictures about a fifth kung fu panda flick. however, judging by how well the fourth movie did in theaters, it's totally within the realm of possibility! director mike mitchell seems keen on the idea too, mentioning that if another sequel happens, "the furious five" would be taking the spotlight. and just in case you need a refresher, "the furious five" includes tigress, monkey, viper, crane, and mantis!
