This is all the gear I’m bringing on my Appalachian Trail SOBO thru-hike starting in July 2022. Since I’ll be starting in the Summer, most of what I’ll be starting with is ultralight and minimal. Once the Fall rolls around and temperatures drop I’ll switch to some warmer gear - different clothing, a warmer sleeping bag, and a small stove and cookpot.

I split my gear lists up (backpack and fanny pack) since I like to know my base weight on my shoulders versus what I carry in my fanny pack. In total, I'm under 10lbs not counting food and water.
