Manjushri, his name means “Gentile Glory” and he is regarded as still a youth. He wears the crown and jewelry that for a Bodhisattva symbolize spiritual not material wealth. He is regarded as the most important of the Bodhisattvas having lived with and conversed with the Historic Buddha.
