In this video, I'm going to show you a simple and elegant way to view your Google email, contacts, and calendar using the Mail app. This method works with Windows 10 and 11, and it is an alternative and better way than Outlook to view email. Mail can be constantly synced and used instead of the web.
I would like to point out to you that the Mail app is a pre-installed app that comes with Windows 11. It is also set as the default email client when you click on a mailto link or any request that requires opening an email client.
Many users prefer the Mail app, as the Mail app is better than opening mail messages over the web through a web browser. The Mail app has many features, such as push notifications for new emails on the Windows desktop, a badge, which serves as a counter for unread emails, and other features.
In the video, I also explain how to set up a Gmail account in the Windows 11 Mail app. These settings apply to any email account from other email providers such as Yahoo or Outlook in the Mail app.
