Dealing with uncertainty in image analysis.
Image interpretation has drawn much debate in academia. In his lecture, Professor Zhou considers the use of powerful modelling tools to analyse images. Artificial Intelligence, for example, plays a very important role in the design of a robust tool for image representation. Using some examples from his own work on uncertainty analysis, Professor Zhou explores how Artificial Intelligence can stimulate new concepts and possible solutions in dealing with complicated problems. The combination of these concepts and solutions lead us to novel adventures in the process.
