How To Fix the “Cannot Read From the Source File or Disk” Error on Windows 11/10:
1. Check the file name
2. Check for malware and viruses:
3. Perform CHKDSK Scan:
4. Change Your USB Cable or Port for External Drives
5. Compress the Files Into a ZIP Folder
6. Check file permissions
7. Disable any antivirus or security software
8. Restart the PC

We recommend that you restart your PC after each solution, and if none of the solutions work, then try reinstalling Windows altogether. Meant for all current Windows versions: XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, 8.1, and of course Windows 10 and Windows 11.
