Bob Clouser's Clouser Minnow is widely known and I have had lots of success with it on fresh water for Bass, Carp, and trout. The Half and Half combines the Clouser Minnow with Lefty Kreh's Deceiver. I believe this to be a variation of both their patterns but closer to the Clouser, thus Clouser Variation.
Tie some up in some of your favorite color combinations or try a new one. Never would have thought yellow and pink would work for some white bass locally, but when asking a few tackle anglers on colors they were using ... tied some up and wham. Always fun trying new colors and techniques.

Body: Natures Spirit Select Bucktail
Flash: Ripple ice minnow
Hackle: Whiting Farms Freshwater rooster saddle olive
