Just a couple of hours outside of Bangkok, on the way to Hua Hin beach, if you take the exit that says "Amphawa," you will get to the Amphawa Floating Market. It's a very charming place. Its liveliness and scrumptious food will make you forget the stresses of life for a while. We enjoyed every bit of a few hours of time we spent there. Totally worth it! Before got there a little earlier before the floating market opens (it opens at night), we went on an excursion to a temple called Wat Bang Kung, which is located at a historic region, where battles took place between the Thais and the Burmese.
