This turned out to be another neat video. It was interesting to learn about the features & mechanics of this machine. Also interesting to note that Deere made it somewhat universal so it could be used on other brands of tractors. If anyone out there has used a 237 on another brand of tractor, leave a comment below.
This was another easy conversion, as the record & filmstrip are in great shape.
Would like to add, this is the end of the filmstrip conversions for now. There are two other ones that will go in the IH folder once I get time to fix the records so they can be copied. Otherwise, I'm all out of material for now. If I run across anymore, they will get uploaded. Unfortunately, these are rare as hens teeth. So, who knows when there will be more to convert. If anyone out there knows where to find anymore from any brand, please let me know. I'm also interested in buying more if someone has any in their personal collection they would like to part with. Please leave a comment below & we'll get in touch. I can also convert these & post the videos if you don't want to part with any & would like to share them with the community.
There is a possibility that I will go through the collection again next winter & restore color to the images. Provided I have the time & get the proper equipment to do so.
So, for the time being that's all folks! Hope you've enjoyed this journey through history as much as I have. If anyone is interested, I will be posting some videos of what I do around the farm here over the course of the season. I don't say anything as I like the tractors & equipment to do the talking. No annoying music & ad free as always.
Kind regards & thanks for viewing!!
