S.M.A.R.T
S -Specific...the direction you want to take
M -Measurable...ways of assessing or evaluating achievement of a goal..numbers, percentages, ratios, fractions etc
A -Attainable/Achievable/Action Bound - will they be realised with the resources available (possibility of achievement), through finance, time, people, machines, procedures, technology available...must be feasible, viable and right!
R -Realistic/Reasonable to achieve
T -Timebound /Timely- will the goals be achieved within a specific period of time?
