SCIg Therapy involves receiving subcutaneous immunoglobulin through a subcutaneous (beneath the skin) infusion.
SCIg infusions are given by slowly injecting the immunoglobulin into the fatty tissue (subcutaneous layer) just underneath the skin.
This video acts as a guide for paediatric patients commencing on immunoglobulin therapy independently in the home, following an in-hospital training regime provided by health professionals at John Hunter Children's Hospital.
