This video demonstrates a congenital cataract surgery in a 4-year-old boy who presented with total cataract with a slightly swollen lens. After initial aspiration, the lens was firmer than expected and a phacoemulsification was performed to remove the remaining lens matter. A primary posterior capsulotomy was performed and an IOL was inserted.
