UD Police Chief Rodney Chatman understands the trust parents place in his department. That guides his decisions in protecting students on campus. The Department of Public Safety provides a level of personal accountability to our students that will help them develop into a person who makes good choices and takes responsibility for self and community. The department promotes safety through education, communication and crime prevention.
