Wayne Mark Rooney, better known as Rooney and Wazza, was born on 24 October 1985 to Jeanette Marie and Thomas Wayne Rooney. He is an English professional footballer as well as the captain of both the England national team and Manchester United. The versatile player belongs to Croxteth in Liverpool and has spent his entire childhood playing this beautiful game. A hardcore fan of Everton as a child, Rooney has experienced a wide set of amazing football career since his debut in a local team. He was just 9 when his skills in this beautiful game was recognised. He had scored a tremendous 99 goals for the local junior league team followed by recognition by the Everton Football Club.
By age 16, Rooney made his professional debut with the youth team of Everton. When he turned 17, Wayne made his international debut becoming the youngest player representing England.
