Hey, I made this vid in 30 minutes to try to upload it ASAP to help you guys understand what's happening in France, from a French POV, and to stop further confusion.

I firmly believe it's a way for Valve to experiment new gambling laws bypasing around the world and that it will soon expand to countries that also voted or are going to vote against lootboxes as they are tobe considered as gambling.
