The last leg of our Luberon tour brings us to the last (but by no means the least) of the villages we visited. Just 7 kilometers from Rousillon, Goult is a historic village situated near the Luberon Regional Nature Park. You can stroll through the village’s picturesque streets and visit the charming church with its archways and ancient doors. While not as popular as the other Luberon villages, you will appreciate the authentic and quiet surroundings of Goult. The highlight for this village is the 17th century windmill at the top of the village.
Finally, we visited Ménerbes. All in stone, Ménerbes is very pretty with beautiful old houses and narrow streets winding through the village, from the bottom, where you will find the shops and restaurants, to the top and the tranquil square that seems out of time. All around, breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Interesting spots to visit are the St. Hillaire abbey, a 14th century church, and the 18th century St. Blaise chapel.
