Try this traditional Prasadam Sri Ram Navami Special Kosambari and Panakam. Kosambari is a typical south indian salad made up of lentils and Panakam is all time favourite cool and traditional drink which is often offered to Sri Ram on his appearance day.

Servings:
Panakam: 1 Litre
Kosambari: 5 servings
Ingredients:
For Panakam:
1 cup jaggery
4 cups water/ as per requirement
15 black pepper
3 cardomom pods
1/4th tsp ginger powder
For kosambari:
1/2 cup split yellow moong dal
1 chopped cucumber
1 grated carrot
1 chopped green chilli
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
1 Lemon's juice
For tempering:
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 dried red chillies
Some curry leaves
1 cup fresh grated coconut
