On June 5, Singapore welcomed its first shipment of eggs from Poland as part of efforts to strengthen food security amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Trade and Industry Minister Chan Chun Sing was at the warehouse to receive the eggs. He described the shipment as a "significant milestone" under a joint ministerial statement issued at the end of May. More shipments of agricultural products from Poland, such as frozen vegetables and chicken, will arrive in the coming weeks.
