For many people the idea of working form home is a dream come true. And if you are one of those that is living the dream and working from home I'm happy for you. However, for me it's absolutely sucks. I worked in television for most of my life and then my beautiful wife Pam had to go to heaven. I then thought it was a good idea to quit my job and move across the country. I got a non TV job that pays very well but the for the most part outside of some travel my days are spent at home alone on the computer and phone. When Pam was alive this would have been good or if the kids were still around. But the fact is, my place is empty 24/7 and spending time working from home just does not work for me. Yes, I go to coffee shops form time to time but I miss the everyday interaction with co-workers. But again, maybe you love it. Here's my take on the subject.
