Outlander Season 6 PLOT TWISTS That Will RUIN The Whole Season!

Welcome back to Scene Focus, today on the channel we are going to talk about how Outlander fans fear critical Brianna plot to be cut in season 6 after spotting stones clue. Outlander’s fifth season ended with some unexpected scenes which had fans worried for the fate of their favourite characters. However, it was Brianna MacKenzie’s (played by Sophie Skelton) storyline which had Starz streamers concerned after one observant viewer spotted a major clue. In the penultimate episode of season five, fans watched in shock as Brianna, Roger Mackenzie (Richard Rankin) and their son Jemmy failed to travel back to the future through the stones. To time travel successfully, they had to focus their minds on home to land at the destination and although they did disappear, they landed back at their starting point.

This left fans concerned and confused, which led one to take to Reddit to share an interesting theory. Eschuylerhamilton asked other fans: “do we think that because Bree and Roger don't go back through the stones, they're abandoning the Amanda storyline? Or will that be a season 6 cliffhanger event?!” This promoted a major discussion as Outlander is based on a series of best-selling novels by Diana Gabaldon and those who had read the books were also confused.
While the MacKenzie family do travel back to the future in the novels it doesn’t happen until the birth of their second child Amanda. The official season 6 teaser trailer hints at trouble to come for the inhabitants of Fraser’s Ridge in the form of the beginnings of the American Revolutionary War. It most likely comes as no surprise that the main reason for Outlander season 6’s delay was the coronavirus pandemic and resulting quarantine. Matthew B. Roberts, writer and producer for the show, cites an “unprecedented set of challenges” that led to the decision to shorten the next season of the time-travel romance Outlander to just 8 episodes, compared to the usual 12-13 episodes per season.
