This video isn't filled with the Pan Am detours that have been running around the Vermont Rail System lately, but there are some clips later in this video. Most of the catches in this video took place before the detours started running around here. I'm uploading this video very early because I have a lot of catches in this video.
Welcome to Trains on the Vermont Rail System, featuring trains on the Vermont Railway mainline between Burlington and Bennington, the Clarendon and Pittsford mainline between Rutland and Whitehall, New York, as well as the spur in Florence, and the Green Mountain Railroad line between Rutland and Bellows Falls.
(0:35) GMRC 263 12/07/19: Four locomotives, led by a GMTX leaser with an amazing Canadian-tuned horn, stop at the Windcrest yard south of Rutland, VT. The engines uncouple from the train, ride down the siding to pick up OMYA cars, then ride back onto the main and hook up to the rest of the train.
(7:10) After a helicopter flies overhead, the train begins the climb up the mountain as it crosses Vermont Route 103. I wasn't going to include this clip but it was too awesome to not upload.
