YS Sharmila, Daughter of Former AP Chief Minister, late. Dr. YS RajaShekar Reddy has made her political entry on 8th July,2021 in Telangana and her new party named after his father, Yeduguri Sandinti Rajashekar Reddy Telangana Party (YSRTP). After a series of interactions with Telangana students and people, she held a public meeting at Khammam, called it as Praja Sankalpa Sabha. Confirmed Her entry in Telangana.
Sharmila has done a padayatra of 3,000 kms in 14 districts in Andhra Pradesh. Even Before Starting Her New Political Party, YSR Telangana Party, YS Sharmila Has Done A 3 Day Hunger Strike (Nirahara) Deeksha in Support of Unemployed Youth and to Fill the Unfilled Jobs in All the Districts of Telangana.
After Establishing Her Party, YS Sharmila has Dedicated Every Tuesday In The Week To Protest Against The Government To Make Them Fill The Vacant Jobs And Called It as “Prathi Mangalavaram Nirudyogula Kosam” and called the Hunger Strike Deeksha as “Nirudyoga Nirahara Deeksha” Started on 20 July 2021.
With Almost 26 Months for the next elections in Telangana, Sharmila has announced her Paadayatra and named it YS Sharmila Praja Prasthanam which starts on 20 October 2021 from Chevella, From same place where her Father YS Raja Shekhar Reddy has started in 2003. YS Sharmila will be walking in 70 constituencies for over an year exempting municipalities.
The three main Agendas of YSRTP are Welfare, Equality and Self-Sufficiency
