After two years away, the Deighton Carnival returned in style for its 21st Anniversary.

Featuring top-class food and drink, fairground rides, sports activities, music tents, live stage performances and much more, the carnival had something for everyone.

Led by 2018/2019 best troupe winners Isles in Harmony, the carnival procession kicked things leading a celebration right through the heart of Deighton, all the way around and back to the Sports Centre, the setting for this year's festivities.

Throughout the day saw music and dance acts featuring some of the best local talent, inspiring youngsters, and nationally renowned performers, all brought together by a particular guest host, the awarding-winning comedian White Yardie.

There was fun to be had throughout the day, from the sports tournaments to the stage shows, and the event really highlighted what can be achieved when people come together to celebrate their local community.

Special thanks to Howard Belafonte, Andi Briggs, and the whole Deighton Carnival team for commissioning us to create this unique production.
