About the tune:
Gulzarji’s 1996 political film, “Maachis”, comes with a haunting soundtrack by Vishal Bharadwaj. This is probably one of my favourite soundtracks of all time. Originally performed by Lata Mangeshkar, I wanted to do justice to interpreting the heartbreaking emotion in this melody.
