Further warrants were executed as part of Operation Viper, the force’s crackdown on serious and organised crime yesterday, Wednesday, September 12.
Enforcement action was taken in Kettering, with six misuse of drugs act warrants executed at addresses across the town.
Three arrests were made during the course of the day with drugs, cash, a knife and BB gun seized.
Detective Chief Inspector, Julie Mead: “We believe gangs from Birmingham and London have been using these addresses to distribute their merchandise.
This is used as a business model by gangs who to come here and have a place to deal their drugs from and that’s what we’re trying to protect people in this town from. Gangs will often target people who are vulnerable and incapable of making decisions about who they have in their homes.
“If you have any information about anyone being exploited or anything to do with drugs in the town and you don’t feel confident to call 101 then call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
