As the number of South Sudanese refugees reaches a landmark one million, UNHCR has named 14-year-old Tabu Sunday as the symbolic millionth person seeking safety in the neighbouring East African state. Tabu, her twin sister Rena and their brother fled home after fighting broke out. Uganda has one of the world’s most welcoming policies towards refugees but as more people arrive, it needs even more support to be able to manage.
