I've been thinking about looking at the relationship between Druidism and Freemasonry for some time. When I finally got down to reading the source texts I found that, even though they didn't really answer my questions, I think they are of enough interest to be worth publishing.
This video is a two-parter. The first section is a modern short essay by the redoubtably named Bro. Stanley K Sproule, which was published in 1983. This gives a typically contemporary and clearheaded view of the purported relationship between Druidism and Freemasonry. The second is quite a contrast, being a flowery piece of high Victorian prose. A lot of the arguments in this have long been exploded, but the text is a marvelous piece of writing, particularly the uplifting final passages.
i hope you enjoy them both!
