0:25 Here you will learn how to create custom shapes. I like this technique to create a perfect triangle, you can use other options. So I started this design with rectangle tool, and create 500 X 400 inches rectangle, and add an anchor point in the upper center using Add Anchor Point Tool, and delete upper left and right anchor points using Delete Anchor Point Tool. Now you can see a perfect triangle. I turned pointed corners into rounded corners, for this purpose I have used corner property because I used CC version of Adobe Illustrator. Might you will not see this option if you have previous versions.
Also I have used pathfinder, and a very useful command divide objects below to get required shape.

04:52 Here I have added a very nice Drop Shadow and Higlight Effects.

06:59 It's time to add black and white gradient in both triangles. To give a lighting effect you have to play with gradient slider and adjust the angle.

07:38 Now it's time to add life in our design using a vibrant blue color, and add some black inner glow to give an awesome 3D look.

08:27 Here I have added some light reflection using Flare Tool.



08:58 Group all objects and place the design at required angle.

09:47 Here I have added Reflection using Opacity Mask. And added some Drop Shadow as well.
