In Star Wars The Old Republic Update 6.3 The Dark Descent adds a new Story with a Flashpoint and a completely new system called Galactic Season.
I mainly play on the german server Tulak Hord and occassionally on Darth Malgus and Star Forge as well.

During the livestream on the official twitch channel of @swtheoldrepublic Eric Musco, Charles Boyd, Jackie and Schmidt informed us about Update 6.3. A lot of things happened during the over one hour stream and I made it my task to summarize the most important information and aspects in this overview.

Short Summary:
We can expect the new flashpoint Secrets of the Enclave where we will meet the new story companions for the imperial and the republican fraction. What exactly does Darth Malgus want on the old Jedi Temple in the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine? (We already know it from Knights of the Old Republic 1 and KOTOR 2)

The Galactic seasons introduces us to a new reward level which can be leveled up through activities (priority objectives) up to level 100. There will be a free track and a subscriber track with special items as rewards exclusively for players with an active subscription. In the first event called The Stranger From Kubindi, we acquire the Kubaz Altuur zok Adon and we can unlock more armor sets, weapons, mounts, decorations and more. This is an expansion of the daily rewards system. Priority Objectives also include some of the conquest missions. We level our battlepass through the new experience Galactic Season Points (GSP). With the introduction of the new rewards system, the Galactic Season Tokens (GST) will be added and can be obtained from the free track for F2P and subs and the subscriber track. We can now buy some amazing items at the new vendor just like the new apartments on the imperial and the republic fleet with a nice view on the VIP Lounge.

What exactly the role of cartel coins and credits play and what exactly is meant by level skipping, you will find that out in the video... cant write everything in the descriptions. At least I can tell you that you can earn or farm some cartel coins for free as a subscriber in the new season.
