AP LAWCET 2022 - Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has started the application form of AP LAWCET 2022 from May 13 onwards. The law entrance exam, AP LAWCET 2022 will be conducted on July 13 as per the notification released in the local newspapers on May 10. AP LAWCET exam is conducted for admission to 3-year and 5-year LLB courses offered at the AP state law colleges. Candidates can apply for AP LAWCET 2022 before June 13. The application form of AP LAWCET 2022 is available at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. Before filling up the application form, candidates must check the eligibility criteria for AP LAWCET 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB courses.
What is AP LAWCET?
Andhra Pradesh Common Law Entrance Test (APLAWCET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admissions to law courses offered at Andhra Pradesh Universities and their affiliated colleges. The exam is conducted in the Computer-Based Test mode for a duration of 90 minutes and the test language is English and Telugu for both five-year LLB and three-year LLB courses.
AP LAWCET 2022 will be conducted from 3 pm to 4:30 pm. The mode of examination for AP LAWCET 2022 is Computer-based test mode. The AP LAWCET 2022 question paper will include 120 objective-type questions from three sections - GK and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for the study of Law.
AP LAWCET Eligibility Criteria 2022
Candidates seeking admissions to law courses on the basis of AP LAWCET exam need to fulfil the eligibility criteria as under:
AP LAWCET Eligibility for Five-year Integrated LLB course:
Candidates should have completed their two-year Intermediate examination/ Class 12th or equivalent from a recognised university or Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh
They should have secured at least 45% marks in Class 12th examination.
Those belonging to the BC category need to have at least 42% marks and those belonging to SC/ ST category need to have at least 40% marks in the qualifying exam.
AP LAWCET Eligibility for the three-year LLB course:
Candidates should have completed their graduation or postgraduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university
The minimum qualifying marks for general category candidates are 45%, for BC category are 42% marks and for SC/ ST category candidates, the qualifying marks are 40%.
