The top Republican in the US Senate, Mitch McConnell, has frozen up during a media conference after being asked a question about whether he would seek re-election in 2026.
It's the second time in as many months that the 81-year-old Kentucky senator has frozen during a press conference, with the minority leader having to be led away from the podium in July.
