Good morning and welcome to today's UK weather forecast for Thursday 15th July 2021.
Today:
The whole country will have a dry with plenty of sunshine but an area of cloud is likely to move southeastwards across parts of England and Wales this morning followed by plenty of sunny spells from the north and west. Temperatures range from 15C to 24C (59F to 75F) still very warm but a little bit lower than previous days.
Tonight:
All places will have a dry night with a mix of clear spells and variable cloud. Temperatures will be warm in the south but central regions could be cooler than recent nights with some rural areas perhaps falling under 10C. Towns and cities will hold up at at around 15C however.
Tomorrow:
The whole country will be dry once again with long spells of sunshine. Some places will have unbroken sunshine and temperatures will be warmer than today with a range of 18C to 27C (64F to 81F likely)
Outlook:
Saturday: High pressure is sitting over the top of the country for the weekend so get set for a barbecue weekend! The whole country will be dry and some places will have unbroken sunshine from dawn to dusk. 28C (83F) is possible
Sunday: A band of cloud and showery rain spreads southwards across Scotland but Northern Ireland, Wales and England will be dry and sunny. Temperatures will be hot for England and Wales with 31C (88F) possible in places!
Monday: A band of cloud and light showers pushes southwards and dies out followed by plenty of sunshine. Temperatures cooler and fresher through central and northern regions but the south could still be hot before the cloud arrives and cooler temperatures arrive.
