In this video you'll find a Subbuteo training exercise that you can do at home on your own.
The aim of this Subbuteo training drill is to make you as the defender get used to blocking different options that an attacker may have when on your side of the pitch.
This drill requires you to have three groups of attackers, each group having 3 players spaced evenly around the ball in triangle shape. They should also be spaced at different distances.
You as the defend will have three groups of defenders, each group containing 3 defending players. You should then use these 3 defenders to get in between the attacking players as best as you can.
I use my left and right defenders to get between the ball and the attacker and then I use my middle defender to block in front of the ball.
