David Gower played for England during the 1970s and 1980s. He was not only one of elegant player of his time, but also one of the top ten stylish as of now. He is ranked fourth in the list of top English run scorers. Even though he looked laid back and carefree, his total runs over 8000 with a batting average of 45 doesn't say so. Gower is a delight to watch.
