Renowned climate activist Sonam Wangchuk's indefinite hunger strike has reached its 9th day, as he, along with supporters, continues to protest outside Ladakh Bhawan in Delhi. The protest aims to push the Centre to resume talks regarding their demands for Ladakh's environmental and regional rights. On Sunday, the Delhi Police briefly detained Wangchuk and 20 other protesters during the peaceful demonstration, but they were later released.
