Nachos are a delicacy from Mexico. They can be topped with your favorite topping such as a cheesy dip or a salsa or guacamole or red beans. In this video we bring to you a very easy & quick recipe to make nacho chips at home with a basic cheese sauce. Do give it a try & let us know.

Ingredients:
For Nachos:
1 cup Maize Flour
½ cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Red Chilli Flakes
2/3 cup Cold Water, for kneading
For Spice Mix:
1 tsp Oregano
½ tsp Salt
1 tsp Cumin Powder
½ tsp Amchoor Powder
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
½ tsp Rock Salt
For Cheese Dip:
¼ cup Milk
½ cup Pizza Cheese
1 tbsp Salted Butter
A pinch of Turmeric
For Garnish:
1 tsp Red Chilli Flakes, for dip
1 tsp Mexican Seasoning, for nachos
1 tsp Black Olives, sliced
1 tsp Jalapeños, sliced
Method:
In a bowl, take maize flour, whole wheat flour, salt and red chilli flakes. Mix them well. Gradually add in cold water and knead it into soft dough. Cover with a damp cloth and keep it aside for 15 minutes.
In another bowl, add all the spices for the spice mix and mix well.
Take one portion of the dough, roll it into a ball and flatten it.
Take a rolling pin and roll it into a thin chapati/sheet. Cut the rough edges with a knife or cutter.
Prick this sheet with a fork.
Heat a pan or tawa and cook this sheet lightly from both sides without ghee or oil.
Transfer to a plate and cut it into triangles (8 equal pieces)
Now heat oil in a pan for deep frying and fry these triangles until golden & crisp.
Transfer to a parchment paper to remove excess oil and then to a plate.
Add the prepared spice mix. Nachos are ready!
For cheese dip, heat milk in a pan and add pizza cheese.
On a low flame, continuously stir it until cheese melts completely.
Then add salted butter and a pinch of turmeric powder. Switch off the flame.
Transfer to a bowl. Cheese dip is ready!
Place nachos in a plate, add some Mexican seasoning on them, add some cheese dip on top, some olives, jalapeños, red chilli flakes and dig in! Ingredients:
