Tondlichi bhaji/tendli ki sabzi/ivy gourd is one of the dry vegetable recipe made in southindian style. Can serve with roti or rice.
Ingredients-
Tondli/tendli/ivy gourd- 250 gms
1 onion
3 to4 garlic cloves
2 tbsp grated coconut,1 tomato, coriender
Salt
1 tsp turmeric powder and 1 tsp cumin/corinder powder
For tempering-
4 chopped green chillis, 8 curry leaves,1/4 tsp musturd and cumin seeds, 1 tsp split gram, 1 tsp split black gram,2 pinch asafetida.
Oil
Method-
Heat oil, give tempering . add onion and slit cut ivygourd. Add salt and mix. cover with lid and cook for 5 to 10 mins on low flame. Add garlic,saute. add turmeric powder and cumin powder.mix. add fresh grated cocont ,tomato and coriender. Mix.cover with lid and cook for more 5 mins. once done serve with roti or rice.
