Short description of the 4th passage of the suite The World Around Us:

The World Around Us / "Svijet oko Nas"

Similar climates and geography, hence agricultural conditions have lead to the development of self-sufficient settling societies and thus triggered the development of complex cultures. Different musical scales used in the composition represent the places where agriculture arose and allow travelling through these places.

The suite itself has been inspired by the current theory of human migration out of Africa, where the human species evolved under specific geographic conditions, into the rest of the world. Humans became a species able to change the world.
This is a reflection on the factors that have lead to the development of complex societies, from small tribes to urban societies of today.
