Nicknamed the Mexican Grass Tree, this Dasylirion is a species of flowering plant native to the Chihuahuan Desert, and northern Mexico. There are about 18 species i this genus, .Try growing it at home. It is very drought tolerant, and it can stand extreme cold. If not try it in a pot, but do remember it is very slow growing.
