MQM worker confesses to murders in leaked video
A suspect affiliated with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Sunday confessed to his involvement in 12 May and Tahir Plaza incidents which saw many political workers and lawyers killed in 2007 and 2008 during lawyers movement for restoration of the then chief justice of Pakistan.

In a leaked video that was reportedly made during the course of the investigation, Kashif Qadir said he carried out the killings at the behest of MQM chief Altaf Hussain. "MQM chief gathered party workers a day before May 12 and asked to stop Chief Justice's rally come what may," Kashif said in the video.
