I swam the spit that separates the north island of Caye Caulker from the South Island. It’s amazing snorkeling and got to see lots of wildlife including snapper, lion fish, spotted eagle rays, stingrays, barracudas, and even a manatee! Be careful with the tidal current on the incoming and outgoing tides, it can cause a strong current around the lazy lizard bar and will be easiest and safest snorkeling at the slack tide.
