Since being acquired by Dale Vince in 2010, Forest Green Rovers have become the world's first vegan football club, the world's first carbon-neutral football club, and the world's greenest football, according to FIFA.
Following twelve years of progress, which saw Forest Green climb from the National League all the way to League One, the Green Army have just suffered back-to-back relegations, dropping out of the EFL.
It was a remarkable rise, followed by a catastrophic fall, over such a short period of time, so in this video, HITC Sevens takes a look at the journey that Forest Green Rovers have been on, what makes the club unique, and why their supporters aren't as despondent as one might imagine.
